After an early pickup from your hotel, we will begin our adventure to Humantay Lake with a drive to Soraypampa. There, a delicious breakfast will be waiting to start our day right. After eating, we’ll begin the trek to Humantay Lake, taking in the stunning views of the towering snow-capped peaks of Salkantay and Humantay. The hike from the trailhead to the lake takes about 1–2 hours through moderately challenging terrain.
Once we arrive at Humantay Lake, the reward is more than worth the effort—an unforgettable view of crystal-clear waters beneath the mighty glaciers. We’ll have time to relax, take photos or offer a traditional tribute to the Apus. After enjoying the lake, we’ll descend back to Soraypampa, where a well-deserved lunch will be waiting before we return to Cusco in the early evening.
