Renato and his team made this trip a fantastic adventure! We loved how Renato knows so much about every place we visited, how he took us to the best places... read more and explained the traditions and history. We also enjoyed listening to his personal story, you can tell he loves what he does!
Every day we went to explore and hike and it was great to have Renato guide us around. When we started planning our trip it was easy to communicate with them, and they were flexible as we asked to change a few things around. There were five people in our group and they picked us every day in a very comfortable van, to take us to our destinations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you Renato and Alfredo!! We hope to be back and do the Inka trail with you!!

Renato was an excellent guide; patient and knowledgeable. He met... read more us the day before to brief us on the trip, and led us the whole trip, including guided tours around Huchuy Qosqo and Machu Picchu.
We aren't particularly avid hikers, but other than having to slow down and catch our breath at the higher altitude sections (4000m+), we found the hike to be manageable.
The route led us through some absolutely stunning farmed terraces, mountain valleys, snowy peaks, and across amazing Inca trails.
Given the time of year (March) Renato didn't recommend camping, and instead we spent 1 night in a wonderful Quecha family lodge near Huchuy Qosqo, who also provided great meals (a real farm to table experience). The hotel in Aguas Calientes the second night was also very nice, clean, comfortable with a hot shower.
If you are looking for an alternative to the classic Inca trail, this a great option, with amazing routes through the Sacred Valley, stunning scenery, plenty of historic sites and remains of Inca trails, all with an excellent guide.

Machu Picchu is a very touristic place and it's not my cuppa tea but I can't fault the tour one bit.

The service was impeccable and delivered on all expectations. I highly recommend this provider for your memorable experiences in Peru.
