For an exciting aquatic adventure, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head to the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, our team of certified professional rafting guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and equip your family with all necessary high-quality gear, including helmets, wetsuits (if needed), and life vests.
Then, board your raft for an exciting white-water adventure on a family-friendly stretch of the Urubamba River—usually the Chuquicahuana or Cusipata sections—known for their fun, Class II–III rapids, especially during the dry season (May to October).
This particular stretch offers the ideal balance of excitement and safety, providing an accessible yet thrilling experience for most ages (generally 8-10+ depending on water levels and operator policy, with options for younger participants if conditions allow). Paddle through fun rapids and enjoy stunning Sacred Valley views from the water, followed by a riverside picnic and return to your Cusco hotel.
