Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel followed by a drive to Socma, a quiet mountain village where our hike begins. We’ll then take a peaceful walk to the Perolniyoc Waterfall—a great spot to pause, take photos, and enjoy the surrounding nature. Continue climbing for another 30 minutes, reaching the Raqaypata Ruins, a pre-Inca site sitting majestically atop the waterfall. As you explore the ancient walls and terraces, your guide will share captivating stories of its history and significance to the region.
Return to Socma for a hearty traditional lunch—an ideal time to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting with fellow travelers. The next destination is “Ñaupa Iglesia,” a mysterious and spiritual site where you can experience a sense of peace and connection. Locals regard it as a highly sacred huaca, believed to have served as an interdimensional portal during the Inca era. The journey to this remarkable spot involves a 30-minute uphill hike. We’ll make our way back to Cusco, arriving at night.
