Here, your family can get up close with South American camelids—alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, and guanacos—while learning their cultural and economic importance. Following our enriching experience at Awana Kancha, we dedicate time to the Ccochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, a dedicated rescue and rehabilitation center for Andean wildlife. This visit provides a poignant opportunity to observe and learn about various rescued animals, including the majestic puma and the iconic Andean condor, understanding the crucial conservation efforts underway to protect these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats.
